Watch Parts Info

I knew it was a terrible idea, but I took the risk anyway. I’m referring of course to the hare-brained decision to continue wearing my watch while playing a game of catch with my daughter. She’s getting ready to try out for the softball team, so we generally spend at least an hour each evening tossing the ball around the backyard. The fact that I have a baseball glove rather than a softball mitt probably didn’t help matters.

Stooping down to field a routine ground ball, I noticed that the ball was taking a funny hop off the turf. Before I could adjust to the ball, I heard a distinctive cracking sound – my watch band had broken in two pieces. I immediately went online seeking replacement watch bands and decided to opt for a leather strap that lends itself to active use. I was right back in the game the very next day.
